Well, we started out
with 144 dresses in 3 colors and all sizes. We are now down to a few and this one is a stone wash pink, and the pink took the stone wash beautifully- it is a lighter pink. Gorgeous!
These are a notch
above the run of the mill hippie dresses, that’s for sure!
The top, which has
a great trimmed out VEE neckline is sort of what I'd call "Harlow Style",
because it is gathered from the shoulders down under the bust at the empire
waistline. More trim follows the under the bust. There is an added embroidered
piece and another piece of that crochet trim below that.
Anyway, this dress
is fabulous and you can dress it up or down.
Sort of a patchwork style and the piecing is done vertically
and horizontally, with the main piecing being done vertically. Then there are
wider pieces past the knee, followed by a big ruffle in a fully embroidered georgette at
It's rayon, so cool water wash.
If you take a look at all the pictures,
you’ll be able to see a close up of the top and also the bottom. An all around fabulous "hippie" dress that you
can wear at least 3 seasons.
Measurements are taken with the garment laid flat and measured across the front
only. Be sure to double and then subtract your own "wiggle room". If you need a
measurement not listed, shoot us a question to seller and we'll be glad to
Because of the fabric, these
have a bit of stretch when they are ironed or steamed. You can get up to a full
inch when you steam. So if you get your dress “unsteamed” (we press for the
pictures), don’t panic just plan on ironing or steaming.
Bust: 20" from underarm to underarm at the top side
seam. (you can also tighten the big tie in the back too if needed)
Natural Waist: 19"
Hips: 26" across the front
